Designing distance education in hardship locations: Case Al-Hol

Ms. Ilona Taimela planned, designed and implemented an extreme distance education to Finnish children in Al-Hol prison camp in Syria for one year 2020 - 2021. 

In this talk she will share how to design mobile distance education in situation of crisis. 

This model can be used for teaching:

• students in hybrid learning
• school dropouts
• refugees
• in situations of crisis
• students in hardship locations

There will be room for discussions and questions and answers.
