Link Online Learners - One Link. One Click. One World

Link Online Learners (LOL) came to be, by 8 HundrED ambassadors back in 2019 as a response to the pandemic. However, the way LOL users such as students, teachers, adult experts and schools have continued changing throughout these 4 years.

We are in Helsinki wanting to collaborate, exchange and find ways of making education fun with more platforms, programs and projects with the help of our weekly international meet-ups!

What are the apps, experts, users, tools, programs, products, or gadgets that you could bring to this family party table? All Welcome!

When the world shut down due to the pandemic, we "Linked" up. In these past 4 years, we've welcomed 6,000+ users from 60+ Countries. LOL  happens twice a week where global learners share, exchange, link and build ideas and projects by over fifty 18 plus-year-old volunteers online in our global community.

LOL joined HEW in 2021 and 2022 online, where guests joined a LOL live call and experienced the fun, globalization and creative exchange with other LOLers around the world.

In this edition of LOL at HEW 2023, LOL will host a hybrid event.

- Firstly with a short introduction by LOL Co-founder and Director Hector Grimaldo.

- Secondly, guests will learn more about LOL, its global community members, its operation, what is new, what to look forward to, and how to get involved too!

- Finally, guests will experience “LOL” LIVE! as we have scheduled a LIVE live to meet our global youth users, and our international teacher volunteers and see for yourself why once you link with online learners, you will always want to continue linking.

We are a community of curious and playful lifelong learners including youth users or students, teachers, classes as a whole and schools who link to connect and exchange on our platform.

We also connect our users to experts and solution providers from around the world and help scale, ideas, activities, programs, and events, and foster collaboration amongst all.

Our cultures, language, customs beliefs and mannerisms don't separate us, but rather link us as we grow curious about the world around us and those in it.

Link Online Learners is a platform for each to;

Share our ordinary lives with others who see them as extraordinary.

Share our passions, skills and interests and learn from each other.

Connect schools, teachers, students and experts with each other.

Give global experts a place to showcase their talents, knowledge, projects, start-ups and ideas with a rich global demographic.

Enable new ideas, projects and innovations to perform, analyze results, collect data and improve through real-life implementation and trial and error.

Find opportunities, projects, interests, and programs we couldn’t have found in our communities. And follow up with action that helps guide our own learning down our own paths with a fun, relaxing and welcoming, “why not try it” experience format.
