Prinsessantie unit of Stadin AO, Helsinki Vocational College and Adult Institute invites you to a virtual visit
Stadin AO, Helsinki Vocational College and Adult Institute provides both young and adult students with a diverse learning environment and supports students’ well-being, broad and practical vocational skills development and lifelong learning. It also provides students with knowledge and skills necessary in further studies and promotes employment.
The Prinsessantie unit, located in the Eastern part of Helsinki, is one of the 15 units of Stadin AO, Helsinki Vocational College and Adult Institute. The college building was fully renovated in 2016-2018 and now answers to the needs of modern vocational education better.
Prinsessantie unit provides vocational upper secondary education (VET) in five different vocational fields for both young and adult students. The study fields taught at the Prinsenssantie unit are:
- Cleaning services
- Food production
- Natural and environmental protection
- Restaurant and catering services
- Tourism Industry
In addition to vocational VET qualifications above, the students can study in preparatory education for vocational training, in further vocational qualification and in specialist vocational qualification. It is also possible to combine the general upper secondary studies with vocational studies.
The students at Prinsessantie learn on-the-job skills in Prinsessantie’s own restaurant Kokki, in a Deli Caféteria and grocery shop Kuppi and in various other learning environments designed just for the need of the vocational studies, such as in wood work shop.
