"UBUNTU" A Cultural Diversity Youth Workshop

"Ubuntu" is an African philosophy characterised by "OneNess" in our commonality rather than the differences by our physiology.

Ubuntu is a two-hour long Cultural Diversity workshop for youth and young adolescents. Ubuntu aims at pointing out common denominators of human experience(s) through the lense of Cultural Diversity Management. 

The workshop will provide tools for understanding the benefits of cultural diversity and management of human process interaction and attempt to explain the basic concept humanity of humanity by focusing on practical aspects of compassion and positive (thinking) mindset.  

Workshop is for 7th to 9th grade students. Teacher can register their group. Places available for maximum 20 students.

SESSION I

Welcome Of Participants:

--> Ice-Break Encountering participants (engagement)

--> 2 x 3 min. audio-visual encounter

INTRODUCTION

--> Concepts: Ubuntu (One-Ness), Culture, Humainity, Diversity

BREAK (RECESS)

SESSION II (Hands-on Approach)

--> Interactive Micro-Groups;  4 - 5 students per group
