Sourced Design: Vitality-centered education that builds regenerative culture
language Online | Login to participate |
In this time together we will explore what vitality-centered education is and how it builds regenerative culture. We will examine the 8-year experiment and living example of Springhouse, an intergenerational learning community that creates education that brings us alive. Presenters will talk about vitality-centered design curriculum and how it is practiced with teens and adults. From the experiment of Springhouse, five design principles emerged and are now shared globally through the Sourced Design Lab and Sourced Design immersion program. Those design principles include:
Taking care of vulnerability.
Cultivating personhood.
Building beloved community.
Respecting the wisdom of the Earth.
Loving and serving others.
Participants will dialogue about how the design principles apply to their own lives and communities and how one can work with the principles to build new learning environments or to revitalize systems in need of more vitality and life.
