Remote modalities to promote Early Childhood Development in developing countries

The Come Play with Me project was developed in Guatemala, Central America, we have designed a model to promote playful activities between primary caregivers and their children in a completely remote way thorough: radiodrama spots, radio programs, songs and SMS/WhatsApp reminders. We have also transferred all our experience in in-person early childhood models to the remote model, which is why we also want to share with you how we make toys from reusable materials. This model was created by a multicultural team and has been tested in indigenous communities in Guatemala. Based on its success, it has been replicated in Mexico, Brazil, Honduras, Uganda and Ethiopia.
