Growth Mindset in Mathematics (in the primary school classroom).
Growth Mindset is the belief that with the right instruction, practice and effort, anyone can improve their ability. Research shows that students with growth mindsets achieve higher than those with a fixed mindset. When students change their mindset - their achievement changes.
In this webinar, you will be introduced to growth mindset theory, along with some actionable tips that you can use in your primary school classroom. Melissa will refer to the subject of mathematics to anchor the talk, but the theory and tools can be applied across the curriculum.
