Global Dialogues for Sustainable Education: Empowering Teachers and Students in ESD
This event will be hosted by Mission 4.7, a global consortium that brings together leaders from government, academia, civil society, and business to accelerate the implementation of Transformative Education around the world. Mission 4.7 is led by partner organizations that include the Center for Sustainable Development at Columbia University; the Global Schools Program and the SDG Academy at the UN SDSN; the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens; UNESCO; and Mission 4.7 Malaysia at Sunway University in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Mission 4.7 invites teachers, students, policymakers, and practitioners to join us for a dynamic event during Helsinki Education Week, where we'll embark on a journey of discovery and collaboration in the realm of Education for Sustainable Development (ESD). This event is a unique opportunity for us from around the world to come together, share experiences, and shape the future of sustainable education. Through interactive discussions and the sharing of global perspectives, we will delve into the diverse needs of teachers and students in ESD, equipping attendees with innovative tools and strategies to foster sustainability in their educational settings. Whether you're a seasoned ESD practitioner or just starting your journey, this event will inspire you to make a meaningful impact in your classroom and beyond.
