EmpowerED Insights: Fostering Collaboration and Enhancing EdTech Solutions

This session takes a departure from the ongoing EmpowerED EU-project and its insights so far into approaches for developing edtech solutions within educational environments. The session aims to highlight examples of identifying key factors contributing to enhancing the quality of edtech solutions as well as getting insight into how a community can be formed to harness a continuous discussion within the edtech ecosystem.

Context: EmpowerED EU-project

The session is rooted in the EmpowerED EU-project. The project focuses on enhancing and improving education through the integration of technology. The project involves collaborations between various stakeholders in the ecosystem, including educators, researchers, technology developers, and policymakers. During the session valuable insight and experience will be shared and discussed.

Examples of Good Practice and Critical Success Factors

The session will showcase examples of critical instances in the development processes of edtech solutions. Additionally, the session will highlight critical success factors that are raised by stakeholders as an important factor. One such success factor is the importance of cultivating a diverse network of professionals from different domains. This collaborative approach brings together experts with diverse perspectives and skill sets, which is vital for the successful development and implementation of edtech solutions. 

Learning Outcome: Connecting Stakeholders and share knowledge and experience

The primary learning outcome of the session is to foster connections among stakeholders within the edtech ecosystem. This includes edtech startups, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), educators, and possibly policymakers. The aim is to initiate the creation of a collaborative community where ideas, experiences, and expertise are shared. By facilitating networking opportunities, the session aspires to create a platform for stakeholders to interact, learn from one another, and potentially collaborate on future projects.
