Debate: A journey for all

Passionate about education, change, and thus, debate, we, Ruhan (16) and Alice (15), are two Youth Ambassadors from the HundrED Community. We have been conducting a youth-based online debate championship with students from all around the world since June 2020. Fuelled by the many global challenges and the UN’s SDG goals, we strived to create a truly impactful program during these unique times. 

How many of you have participated in a debate? Well, we believe that all of us should have taken part in one, even if just once. The objective of this presentation is to have an open and intercultural dialogue regarding the implementation of debate, emphasizing its benefits for society. Students should be able to express their opinions and voice. And this is why we intend to inspire you to debate to create, using the powerful tool that is - discussion, which leads to concrete steps and actions. Join us on a journey to explore the boundless potential of debate, which opens pathways to creativity, critical thinking, and so much more!
